Please join the Metro Manhattan (NY) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated and 100 Black Men of New York on Monday, June 13th from 6:30PM – 8:00PM for a panel discussion on "Activism Through an Intergenerational Lens." As our community faces a myriad of challenges from the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, voter suppression, police brutality, and violence from emboldened white supremacists, activism is more important than ever. Dynamic and seasoned activists, Dr. Hazel Dukes and Tamika Mallory, will be joined by Tyler Best and Follyvi Dossa, two young members of 100 Black Men’s Junior 100 just embarking on their activism journey. We will explore questions such as: How does one’s generation influence one’s activism? What can leaders who came of age in the struggles of the 20th century teach younger leaders? And what can more experienced activists learn from young leaders?
